Responsibilities
As a Receptionist, you will play a key role in managing communications and administrative tasks, including:
- Acting as the first point of contact by answering and managing inbound calls courteously.
- Routing inquiries appropriately and maintaining professional communication standards.
- Contacting courts for case status updates, notices, and procedural questions.
- Monitoring and managing multiple email inboxes, ensuring timely and accurate responses.
- Tracking legal notices, deadlines, and preparing or sending required communications.
- Assisting with billing and collections tasks, including follow-ups and invoice verification.
- Maintaining organized administrative records and ensuring daily tasks are completed efficiently.
- Supporting the office team with other administrative duties as needed.
Requirements
- Prior experience as a Receptionist, Executive Assistant, or Administrative Professional (legal experience preferred).
- Comfortable working in a law firm or legal environment and communicating with courts.
- Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills and keen attention to detail.
- Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and professionalism.
- Familiarity with email systems, spreadsheets, and online administrative tools.
