Responsibilities
- Collaborate with planning and production teams to ensure materials are prepared according to production schedules
- Conduct inventory checks to maintain accuracy and minimize discrepancies or losses
- Champion health, safety, and quality standards across warehouse operations
- Manage supplier and 3PL provider relationships, including communication and issue resolution
- Participate in continuous improvement projects to increase warehouse efficiency
- Supervise contractors when required, ensuring a positive and safe working environment
Requirements
- Current fork hoist license
- Proven experience in warehouse operations
- Experience managing inbound and outbound inventory activities
- Knowledge of health, safety, and quality protocols in a food manufacturing environment
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Legal and unrestricted working rights in New Zealand
