General Hand Job In New Zealand

Responsibilities

As a General Hand, your core duties will include:

  • Assisting with maintenance activities to ensure the appearance and upkeep of the Mercy campus.
  • Supporting grounds maintenance efforts around the campus.
  • Organizing and transporting theatre crates and deliveries throughout the facility in a timely manner.
  • Helping with heavy manual tasks and other general laboring duties as needed.

Requirements

Candidates applying for this role should meet the following requirements:

  • Eligible to work in New Zealand and provide vaccination history.
  • Holds a current NZ driver’s license.
  • Willingness to work Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week (1.0 FTE).

Skills

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Basic mechanical knowledge and general laboring skills.
  • Knowledge of grounds maintenance.
  • Strong computer literacy and time management skills.
  • Problem-solving ability and a proactive attitude toward tasks.
