Anglicare Sydney is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Home Care Worker to provide high-quality support to clients in their own homes across the Strathfield and Inner West areas. This Permanent Part-Time role allows you to help clients maintain independence, dignity, and a high quality of life through personal care, companionship, and practical support.

Responsibilities
- Provide domestic assistance, including washing, ironing, vacuuming, and dusting
- Assist with meal planning, preparation, and cooking
- Support personal care tasks such as showering, dressing, grooming, and hygiene
- Offer social engagement and companionship, encouraging participation in community activities
- Provide transport services for appointments, shopping, and social outings
- Ensure clients feel safe, respected, and valued at all times
Requirements
- Valid NSW Driver’s Licence and reliable C Class Motor Vehicle
- Current First Aid and CPR certificate (or willingness to obtain)
- COVID-19 and Flu vaccinations recommended
- Basic computer and smartphone literacy
- Empathy, patience, adaptability, and strong communication skills
Desirable:
- Previous experience in Home Care or Disability Support
- Certificate III in Individual Support (Aging, Home, and Community)
