Responsibilities
As a Mining Operator, your key responsibilities will include:
- Operating and maintaining fixed plant and mobile production mining equipment
- Monitoring equipment and production performance and reporting as required
- Performing routine maintenance and troubleshooting of machinery
- Ensuring compliance with safety and environmental regulations
- Collaborating with team members to achieve production targets
Requirements
To succeed in this role, candidates should meet the following requirements:
- Previous experience in mining or heavy machinery operation preferred (e.g., 982/988 loaders, Moxy trucks, forklifts, IT loaders, EWP)
- Current driver’s license (HR or C class)
- Forklift and EWP tickets preferred but not essential
- Ability to provide a national police check and complete a pre-employment medical
- Willingness to work in a residential setting on a rotating roster (FIFO or BIBO/DIDO)
