Boots Opticians is seeking enthusiastic and customer-focused Optical Assistants to join our Queensberry, Otago team. As the first and last point of contact for our customers, you will play a key role in delivering exceptional eye care experiences, helping clients find the right eyewear solutions, and supporting our in-store optical services.

Responsibilities
As an Optical Assistant, your responsibilities will include:
- Greeting customers and building strong relationships by understanding their needs.
- Assisting with eye-tests and pre-screening activities.
- Ordering, dispensing, and collecting glasses and contact lenses.
- Providing aftercare support, including repairs and adjustments.
- Completing operational and administrative tasks associated with dispensing prescriptions.
- Maintaining shop floor standards and ensuring a welcoming environment.
Requirements
- Passion for delivering excellent customer care.
- Enthusiasm for learning and personal development.
- Willingness to work on the shop floor and engage directly with customers.
Desirable
- Previous experience in a retail or clinical environment is advantageous but not essential.
