Responsibilities

As a Telephone Operator, you will:

  • Professionally answer and direct incoming telephone calls.
  • Arrange wake-up calls and follow through to ensure guest satisfaction.
  • Handle guest inquiries, requests, and complaints efficiently.
  • Maintain knowledge of all hotel features, services, room types, rates, and promotions.
  • Communicate special instructions to the kitchen and other departments.
  • Maintain system telephone directory, faxes, messages, and administrative tasks.
  • Follow SOPs for fire evacuation and emergency situations.
  • Log service requests and incidents in FCS/e-connect software.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization in the telephone and reception areas.

Requirements

  • Minimum 1+ years of experience in front office or as a telephone operator in a 4–5* property with 250+ rooms.
  • Proficiency in front office computer systems.
  • Excellent spoken and written English communication skills.
  • Ability to work flexible hours with rotating shifts.
  • Pleasant personality with good grooming and professional demeanor.
