Responsibilities
As a Tailor, your responsibilities include:
- Checking work for cleanliness and quality before processing
- Providing friendly and efficient service to colleagues and hotel staff
- Processing hotel bedding, staff uniforms, and related items
- Maintaining Health and Safety standards in all tasks
- Standing and walking for the duration of shifts
- Frequent lifting, carrying, kneeling, pushing, and pulling (up to 30 lbs)
- Occasionally ascending or descending ladders, stairs, and ramps
- Performing other duties as assigned by supervisors
Requirements
Candidates should meet the following requirements:
- Previous experience in housekeeping or textile maintenance is an asset
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Strong interpersonal and problem-solving abilities
- Highly responsible, reliable, and detail-oriented
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Ability to remain calm, courteous, and focused under pressure in a fast-paced environment
