Responsibilities
- Pick up and deliver packages along assigned routes
- Check shipments for compliance with FedEx service standards
- Provide courteous and professional customer service
- Follow company policies and procedures for handling packages
- Manage time effectively to meet delivery schedules
- Lift packages up to 70 lbs and handle items up to 150 lbs using proper equipment
- Work flexible schedules, including holidays, as required
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver’s license with a good driving record
- Ability to lift and maneuver packages as required
- Minimum one year of customer-oriented business experience preferred
- Completion of mandatory pre-placement driver assessment training
- Some knowledge of FedEx operations and Canadian Customs regulations is an asset
- Strong interpersonal, organizational, and time management skills
- Ability to work under pressure and multitask effectively
