The Plombier (Plumber) is responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing plumbing systems in residential and commercial facilities. This role ensures the proper functioning, safety, and compliance of facility water, waste, and drainage systems, while supporting operational efficiency and client satisfaction.

Responsibilities
- Determine piping system requirements and pipe sizing for installations
- Measure, cut, thread, bend, and fit pipes to required specifications
- Interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications for plumbing layouts
- Install, replace, and repair valves, pumps, fixtures, and equipment
- Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on facility plumbing systems
- Test pipes for leaks, blockages, or other issues
- Monitor and inspect plumbing systems to ensure uptime and safety
- Implement and maintain preventative maintenance (PM) programs
- Maintain accurate inventory of tools and arrange for repair or replacement
- Provide observations, recommendations, and support on facility projects
- Comply with environmental, health, safety, fire protection, and building codes
- Participate in on-call/standby and emergency response duties as required
Requirements
- College diploma or certification in plumbing
- Valid Journeyman Plumbing license issued by the province
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience as a licensed plumber
- Knowledge of fire, life, safety, and building codes
- Ability to work shifts, on-call, and emergency call-outs
- Valid driver’s license
- Strong adherence to safety protocols and facility operational procedures
