Service Person Drainage Job In New Zealand

The Serviceperson Drainage plays a vital role in maintaining essential water infrastructure by ensuring wastewater and stormwater systems operate efficiently. Responsibilities

  • Maintain and ensure free-flowing wastewater and stormwater networks
  • Minimize sewage overflows and pipeline infiltration
  • Install new drainage connections and perform network repairs
  • Clear blockages and respond to drainage issues
  • Inspect and carry out routine maintenance on drainage systems
  • Construct and adjust manholes and pipelines
  • Operate small plant and machinery as required
  • Record work and maintenance data using digital tools
  • Follow all health and safety standards and procedures

Requirements

  • Experience in drainage or similar maintenance work (preferred)
  • Ability to operate small plant and machinery
  • Full, clean driver’s license (Class 2, W, T, R advantageous)
  • Basic knowledge of using digital devices (tablet/iPad)
  • Understanding of health and safety practices
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Flexibility to work shifts and standby/on-call duties
  • Legal eligibility to work in New Zealand
