Responsibilities
- Provide personal care and support to elderly residents across AM, PM, and night shifts
- Collaborate with nursing, hospitality, and resident engagement teams
- Assist residents with daily living activities, mobility, and hygiene
- Monitor residents’ health and wellbeing, reporting changes to senior carers or supervisors
- Maintain a safe environment, following strict workplace safety protocols
- Communicate effectively with residents, families, and colleagues to build rapport
Requirements
- Certificate III in Individual Support (Aged Care), Diploma of Nursing with placement, or 2nd-year nursing student with placement
- NDIS Worker Screening Clearance (or willingness to obtain)
- Minimum one year experience in aged care (preferred)
- Strong understanding of workplace safety procedures
- Ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends and handovers
- Positive teamwork attitude and professional communication skills
- Computer literacy for emails, training platforms, and documentation
