Responsibilities
- Place bottles on automatic filling machines, ensuring correct bottles, inserts, and pumps are used
- Apply sleeves and labels to bottles and cartridges, ensuring acceptable quality
- Assemble, tape, label, and date-stamp boxes according to product specifications
- Lift and stack boxes (up to 15 kg) onto skids to ensure stability during transport
- Visually inspect products for color, appearance, seals, and overall quality
- Report irregularities to Quality Control or the Supervisor promptly
- Secure caps or lids correctly on products
- Maintain cleanliness of work areas by removing garbage and breaking down empty boxes
- Handle spills appropriately to prevent contamination or damage
- Follow all health, safety, and workplace policies and procedures
- Participate in identifying and reporting safety risks
- Assist with job rotation and perform other duties as assigned by the Supervisor
Requirements
- Completion of Grade 12 high school diploma or GED equivalent
- Availability to work all shifts, including days, nights, weekends, and overtime as required
- Ability to work full-time (38 hours per week)
- Willingness to rotate job tasks as needed
- This position is not eligible for relocation
Skills
- Manual dexterity for sleeving, labeling, hand-filling, and dating tasks
- Motor and mechanical skills to operate tape guns, hand tools, and carts
- Basic mathematical skills for counting and inventory tasks
- Ability to work efficiently on an automated filling and assembly line
- Attention to detail to ensure product quality and compliance
- Basic English reading, writing, listening, and verbal communication skills
- Ability to follow instructions and communicate effectively with team members
- Previous factory or assembly-line experience is considered an asset
