Responsibilities
- Conduct operations, maintenance, and repair (OM&R) of sanitary sewer systems.
- Inspect, test, troubleshoot, and repair components such as submersible pumps, de-watering pumps, valves, floats, alarm boxes, macerators, grinders, and PLCs.
- Maintain accurate system documentation using SMS (Sanitary Management System).
- Perform scheduled preventive maintenance and operational inspections according to manufacturer specifications and codes.
- Interpret engineering drawings, electrical schematics, and logic diagrams to troubleshoot complex systems.
- Plan, conduct, and document technical training programs using lesson plans and performance objectives.
- Provide hands-on instruction and theoretical knowledge to trainees to enhance proficiency.
- Support emergency repairs and complex service calls on-site.
- Adhere to OSHA, USAF, and company safety standards, maintaining a safe work environment.
- Perform additional duties as required to support mission objectives.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent (relevant experience may substitute education).
- Minimum 3 years of experience specializing in sanitary sewer systems maintenance and repair.
- Valid U.S. Passport and Driver’s License (manual transmission required).
- Current SECRET Security Clearance prior to deployment.
- Ability to complete Air Force flight line driver’s license and access badge requirements.
- Completion of CBRN defense training, including fit testing of DoD protective gear.
- Strong communication skills and ability to provide technical instruction effectively.
