Responsibilities
As a Parking Officer, your key responsibilities will include:
- Investigating and enforcing parking offences in Council-managed free parking areas and on-street parking zones.
- Enforcing litter-related offences from vehicles and individuals.
- Managing compliance with Local Government regulations in designated council areas.
- Regulating footpaths, parks, reserves, and outdoor dining areas to ensure adherence to council standards.
- Maintaining a professional and courteous relationship with the community while effectively handling challenging situations.
- Working a 5-day week Monday to Saturday on a rotating roster.
Requirements
To succeed in this role, candidates must have:
- A current C Class Driver’s License.
- Prior experience in a regulatory or enforcement position.
- Proven customer service skills with the ability to manage difficult interactions.
- Strong problem-solving capabilities and attention to detail.
