Responsibilities
As a Housekeeping Attendant, your key responsibilities will include:
- Supporting daily housekeeping and laundry operations to meet brand standards
- Delegating tasks to housekeeping and laundry team members efficiently
- Monitoring staff performance, appearance, and compliance with hotel standards
- Providing outstanding guest service and responding to guest requests promptly
- Coordinating room availability and release with housekeeping supervisors
- Managing housekeeping controls, including master keys, uniforms, linen, and incident logs
- Reviewing guest preferences in CRM systems and ensuring timely fulfillment
- Arranging flowers and special linen services for guest occasions
- Handling lost and found records and monthly donations
- Coordinating uniform cleaning and repairs
- Managing document flow and linen distribution within the department
- Overseeing guest laundry services and monthly laundry expense closures
- Covering Laundry Attendant duties during absences or leave periods
Requirements
To be successful in this role, candidates should meet the following requirements:
- Previous experience in housekeeping or laundry operations
- Strong planning and organizational skills
- Good oral and written communication abilities
- Basic to intermediate computer skills, including Microsoft Office
