Responsibilities
As a Care Worker, your key responsibilities will include:
- Supporting older adults to maintain or improve physical, cognitive, emotional, and social health
- Following and contributing to individual care plans
- Assisting residents with daily living activities, domestic tasks, and activity support
- Working collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to promote residents’ wellbeing
- Maintaining accurate and timely documentation
- Supporting residents in making decisions about their care and lifestyle
- Enhancing the overall quality of life for each resident
Requirements
To be considered for this role, candidates should have:
- Certificate III in Individual Support (Aged Care) or nursing students who have completed at least one year including placement
- Satisfactory Police Check for working with vulnerable groups (issued within 12 months)
- Experience in healthcare or aged care is highly desirable
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Passion for supporting choice, independence, and high-quality care
