This Permanent Part-Time role focuses on helping older adults maintain independence, dignity, and wellbeing through practical support, companionship, and emotional care.

Responsibilities
As a Home Care Worker, your main responsibilities will include:
- Domestic Assistance: Support clients with household chores such as washing, ironing, vacuuming, and dusting
- Meal Preparation: Assist with planning, preparing, and cooking meals
- Personal Care Support: Help clients with showering, dressing, grooming, and other personal hygiene needs
- Social Engagement: Provide companionship and encourage participation in social activities and community engagement
- Transport Services: Drive clients to appointments, shopping trips, and social outings
- Maintaining accurate care records and documentation
Requirements
To be successful in this role, candidates should have:
- Valid NSW Driver’s Licence and reliable C Class motor vehicle
- Current First Aid and CPR certification (or willingness to obtain)
- COVID-19 and flu vaccinations (highly recommended)
- Basic computer and smartphone literacy
Desirable:
- Previous experience in Home Care or Disability Support
- Certificate III in Individual Support (Aging, Home, and Community)
