Responsibilities
- Ensure proper fit of garments through precise measurements and alterations
- Mark, alter, and press garments to meet customer specifications
- Assist customers with questions, fittings, and tailoring requests
- Maintain open communication with management and team members
- Keep the tailor shop clean, organized, and operationally efficient
- Suggest new wardrobe ensembles to customers
- Support sales by interacting with and responding to customers’ needs
Requirements
- Formal training in tailoring preferred
- Experience in menswear tailoring highly preferred
- Strong technical skills in garment alterations
- Knowledge of sewing equipment and techniques
- Excellent communication skills
- Team-oriented with a positive attitude
- Proficiency in basic and advanced alterations for men’s tailored clothing
