Welder Job In Argentina

PROENERGY is seeking a skilled Welder 3rd Shift to join its Missouri operations team. This position is ideal for experienced TIG welders who enjoy working with specialty materials and precision welding in a fast-paced, high-quality environment. The role involves repairing turbine subcomponents, performing assembly/disassembly, and maintaining strict adherence to safety and quality standards on the 3rd shift.

Responsibilities

  • Use TIG welding equipment and fixtures to repair turbine subcomponents
  • Prepare areas for welding using pneumatic, electrical, and hand tools
  • Blend welded areas to original contours
  • Perform minor assembly and disassembly of components
  • Read and interpret work instructions and technical documents
  • Use measuring tools such as micrometers, calipers, height gauges, and tape measures
  • Manufacture jigs, chills, argon backups, and other tooling for welding tasks
  • Work under limited supervision while maintaining quality standards
  • Follow all EHS (Environmental, Health, and Safety) policies and procedures

Requirements

  • High school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience TIG welding super-alloys
  • Ability to pass a GTAW weld test in 1G horizontal position
  • Knowledge of exotic metals or super-alloys
  • Successful completion of pre-employment drug screen and background check
  • US work authorization is required (no visa sponsorship provided)

Skills

  • Strong hand-eye coordination and attention to detail
  • Proficiency with pneumatic grinding and other hand tools
  • Ability to weld, prep, and blend metal parts accurately
  • Basic assembly and disassembly skills
  • Awareness of EHS policies and ability to follow safety warnings
