PROENERGY is seeking a skilled Welder 3rd Shift to join its Missouri operations team. This position is ideal for experienced TIG welders who enjoy working with specialty materials and precision welding in a fast-paced, high-quality environment. The role involves repairing turbine subcomponents, performing assembly/disassembly, and maintaining strict adherence to safety and quality standards on the 3rd shift.

Responsibilities
- Use TIG welding equipment and fixtures to repair turbine subcomponents
- Prepare areas for welding using pneumatic, electrical, and hand tools
- Blend welded areas to original contours
- Perform minor assembly and disassembly of components
- Read and interpret work instructions and technical documents
- Use measuring tools such as micrometers, calipers, height gauges, and tape measures
- Manufacture jigs, chills, argon backups, and other tooling for welding tasks
- Work under limited supervision while maintaining quality standards
- Follow all EHS (Environmental, Health, and Safety) policies and procedures
Requirements
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience
- Minimum 5 years’ experience TIG welding super-alloys
- Ability to pass a GTAW weld test in 1G horizontal position
- Knowledge of exotic metals or super-alloys
- Successful completion of pre-employment drug screen and background check
- US work authorization is required (no visa sponsorship provided)

- Strong hand-eye coordination and attention to detail
- Proficiency with pneumatic grinding and other hand tools
- Ability to weld, prep, and blend metal parts accurately
- Basic assembly and disassembly skills
