Responsibilities
- Receive, inspect, and prepare flowers from suppliers, ensuring quality standards
- Design and create floral arrangements for public areas, guest rooms, restaurants, and banquets
- Deliver flowers and arrangements to hotel locations and offsite as needed
- Coordinate setup of floral displays and arrangements on-site
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the floral shop and storage areas
- Follow safety protocols and complete required certifications and training
- Assist guests and respond to inquiries with professionalism and courtesy
- Perform daily closing duties, including cleaning and organizing the shop
- Handle materials safely, including fertilizers, chemicals, and other substances according to procedures
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Ability to lift and transport objects up to 25 lbs
- Ability to stand, bend, twist, and work on feet for extended periods
- Ability to work a full-time schedule and perform repetitive tasks safely
- No prior experience required; training provided
