Responsibilities
As a Cashier, your key responsibilities will include:
- Providing excellent customer service and engaging positively with all customers
- Maintaining a neat and organized checkout area
- Accurately scanning products and handling cash, coupons, lottery, and PC Optimum transactions
- Asking customers for their PC Optimum Card during each transaction
- Merchandising and maintaining designated store areas, including signage and labeling
- Following loss prevention procedures and controlling cash, lottery, and stamp inventory
- Complying with health, safety, and store policies
- Upholding the store’s housekeeping and image standards
- Performing other duties as required to support store operations
