The Front Desk Agent is the face of the hotel, responsible for creating a welcoming and seamless experience for every guest. This role is vital in ensuring that guests feel valued and comfortable from the moment they arrive until their departure. Key Responsibilities

  • Greet and welcome all guests according to Wyndham standards.
  • Provide information on hotel services, room types, and amenities.
  • Perform all Front Office duties, including guest check-in/check-out, answering phones, assisting with inquiries, and handling reservations.
  • Handle guest complaints professionally and resolve issues promptly.
  • Register guests, assign rooms, and accommodate special requests whenever possible.
  • Track room status and maintain up-to-date guest information in the Front Office system.
  • Perform cashier functions, including posting charges, currency exchange, and handling payments.
  • Promote the Wyndham Rewards program and hotel promotions, achieving monthly enrollment targets.
  • Use suggestive selling techniques to upsell rooms and hotel services.
  • Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance to ensure smooth operations and accurate room status updates.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the front desk area.
  • Assist the Guest Service Manager and work closely with other departments to ensure excellent service delivery.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or higher; hospitality, tourism, or business coursework preferred.
  • Minimum of one year of experience in a Front Desk role at an international 5-star hotel brand.
  • Proficiency with computer systems, including Microsoft Office and hotel property management systems (e.g., Opera).
  • Ability to stand for long periods and work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays.
  • Bilingual abilities are an advantage.
