Responsibilities
- Implement and maintain HSE policies and procedures on-site
- Conduct regular risk assessments, safety inspections, and audits
- Monitor compliance with local laws, company standards, and client requirements
- Investigate incidents, accidents, and near-misses; recommend corrective actions
- Promote safe work practices and awareness among employees and contractors
- Assist in training staff on HSE procedures and protocols
- Ensure proper documentation and reporting of HSE activities
- Support quality management initiatives and continuous improvement programs
Requirements
- Graduate in HSE or diploma with at least 2 years of HSE experience
- IOSH and NEBOSH certifications are preferred
- Knowledge of local safety regulations and international HSE standards
- Strong attention to detail and proactive approach to risk management
- Ability to work on-site in Sohar and adapt to dynamic project environments
