Responsibilities
As a Kitchen Attendant, your key responsibilities will include:
- Maintaining cleanliness within the kitchen to meet Canterbury’s high standards
- Assisting the Chef team with food preparation and general kitchen duties
- Ensuring safe work practices, with particular focus on Work, Health, and Safety
- Cleaning and maintaining dishwashing facilities and associated kitchen equipment
- Demonstrating knowledge and application of food safety and hygiene standards
Requirements
To succeed in this role, you should have:
- Full working rights in Australia
- Safe Food Handling Certification
- Experience in high-volume kitchen environments
- Ability to multitask and work effectively under pressure
- Initiative and willingness to learn
- Flexibility to work a 7-day rotating roster, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays
