ALS is seeking enthusiastic Technicians to join their metallurgical services team in Perth, WA. This casual role involves shift work (day, afternoon, and occasional night shifts) with the potential for permanent full-time employment based on performance. Technicians will perform metallurgical laboratory testwork procedures safely and accurately, contributing to ALS’s commitment to data-driven scientific solutions.

Responsibilities
Technicians at ALS will be responsible for:
- Performing laboratory activities including cleaning, labelling, weighing, sample preparation, digestion, fusing, instrument operation, and classical methods
- Completing test runs and procedures accurately and efficiently
- Maintaining high standards of cleanliness and safety in the laboratory
- Following ALS procedures, policies, and quality standards strictly
- Managing time effectively to meet client expectations
Requirements
Candidates should meet the following requirements:
- Good communication, organisational, and time management skills
- Attention to detail and high motivation
- Ability to undertake shift work (day, afternoon, occasional night)
- Capability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
- Physical fitness for manual handling tasks
- Literacy, numeracy, and basic computer skills

- Australian citizenship, permanent residency, or valid working visa
Previous laboratory or mine site experience is preferred but not required, as training will be provided.
