Responsibilities
- Maintain facility lighting, replacing bulbs and ballasts as needed
- Repair or replace faulty electrical components
- Run power circuits for facility loads and install electrical conduit and cabling
- Troubleshoot and repair process control equipment and board-level instrumentation
- Act as a helper for Class I and Senior Electricians
- Install and calibrate field instrumentation, including RTDs, thermocouples, flow meters, and pressure transducers
- Perform basic mechanical duties such as removing motors and pulleys
- Record test data and document electrical failures accurately
- Participate in plant safety programs and safe electrical practices
- Perform additional duties as requested
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Certification or diploma in electrical technology preferred
- Minimum two years of experience repairing, maintaining, and installing electrical equipment or systems
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, electrical schematics, and troubleshooting manuals
- Knowledge of electrical codes and safe work practices
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions and maintain accurate records
- Technical aptitude for process control and instrumentation
