Responsibilities

As a Machine Operator, your key responsibilities will include:

  • Operating slitter machines, guillotines, and other paper-processing equipment
  • Setting up machines correctly before operation and performing basic checks
  • Maintaining cleanliness and quality assurance on all production runs
  • Completing production runs to meet daily output targets
  • Wrapping, stacking, and preparing finished products
  • Assisting with forklift or reach truck operation if licensed
  • Conducting quality checks to ensure product accuracy and presentation
  • Safely lifting up to 20kg for machine loading and unloading

Requirements

  • Experience operating industrial or production machinery
  • Ability to follow machine operating procedures and safety guidelines
  • Physically able to lift up to 20kg regularly
  • Reliable communication skills and ability to work independently or in a team
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
  • Must pass a pre-employment drug test

Preferred:

  • Reach truck experience and/or licence
  • Previous factory or processing environment experience
  • Mechanically minded with a proactive approach to learning
