Responsibilities

Key responsibilities of a Cashier include:

  • Handling all cash collections from Delivery Drivers or Couriers and managing petty cash processes
  • Preparing and submitting daily cash summary reports to the Depot Accountant
  • Counting cash at the start and end of shifts to ensure accuracy and reconciliation with collection reports and QAD GL balances
  • Preparing and depositing daily bank deposits based on cash collections
  • Maintaining a safe and clean working environment by following company procedures and rules
  • Reporting discrepancies in accounts to supervisors
  • Preparing daily, weekly, and monthly transaction reports

Requirements

Candidates should meet the following requirements:

  • Educational Level: Minimum Associate Degree
  • Experience: Minimum 3 years as a cashier; FMCG or logistics experience preferred
  • Languages: Fluent in Arabic and English
  • Computer Skills: Proficient in MS Excel and experience with ERP systems
  • Strong communication, interpersonal skills, and attention to detail
