Responsibilities
Key responsibilities of a Cashier include:
- Handling all cash collections from Delivery Drivers or Couriers and managing petty cash processes
- Preparing and submitting daily cash summary reports to the Depot Accountant
- Counting cash at the start and end of shifts to ensure accuracy and reconciliation with collection reports and QAD GL balances
- Preparing and depositing daily bank deposits based on cash collections
- Maintaining a safe and clean working environment by following company procedures and rules
- Reporting discrepancies in accounts to supervisors
- Preparing daily, weekly, and monthly transaction reports
Requirements
Candidates should meet the following requirements:
- Educational Level: Minimum Associate Degree
- Experience: Minimum 3 years as a cashier; FMCG or logistics experience preferred
- Languages: Fluent in Arabic and English
- Computer Skills: Proficient in MS Excel and experience with ERP systems
- Strong communication, interpersonal skills, and attention to detail
