Responsibilities
- Manage and control inventory of kitchen equipment, crockery, cutlery, and glassware
- Ensure efficient operations across stewarding functions
- Lead, train, and motivate the stewarding team
- Maintain a clean, safe, and hygienic work environment for the F&B department
- Oversee dishwashing operations and kitchen cleaning procedures
- Supervise proper chemical handling and equipment sanitation
- Ensure correct recycling and waste disposal practices
- Enforce HACCP standards on a daily basis
- Ensure compliance with government regulations and corporate F&B standards
- Promote teamwork and consistent performance within the stewarding team
Requirements
- Proven experience in stewarding operations
- Previous experience as a Chief Steward or Assistant Chief Steward
- Strong knowledge of hygiene, safety, and food handling standards
- Ability to use computers for inventory control and reporting
- Experience managing loss and breakage reports
- Valid HACCP certification
