Responsibilities
As part of the Cleaning and Trolley Collection team, your responsibilities will include:
- Completing cleaning tasks in line with the daily planner, including sweeping floors, cleaning walls, bathrooms, trolley bays, and team rooms, and emptying bins
- Collecting trolleys from car parks and surrounding areas
- Supporting different store departments with specific cleaning requirements
- Assisting customers by answering questions and providing directions
- Operating cleaning equipment and tools safely and efficiently, with full training provided
Requirements
The ideal candidate should bring:
- Physical fitness and ability to perform manual tasks, including lifting 5–10kg loads and standing for long periods
- Flexibility to work across different environments, including shop floors, fridges, freezers, and car parks
- Availability to work shifts from Monday to Sunday, starting from 6am or 5pm
- Attention to detail and a good eye for cleanliness
- A positive attitude, a love of retail, and passion for helping people
