Responsibilities
- Evaluate and annotate construction and inspection-related data for AI model development
- Interpret building plans, blueprints, schematics, and technical specifications
- Provide expertise on construction codes, safety standards, and regulatory compliance
- Develop realistic inspection scenarios and case studies for AI training
- Document inspection processes, compliance decisions, and best practices
- Collaborate remotely with technical teams to ensure AI model accuracy
- Identify gaps in AI-generated outputs and recommend improvements
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Construction and Building Inspector or similar construction compliance role
- Strong knowledge of local, state, and national building codes and safety regulations
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, plans, and specifications
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- High attention to detail and strong analytical abilities
- Proficiency with digital documentation tools and remote collaboration platforms
- Ability to work independently while contributing to cross-functional teams
Preferred Qualifications
- Professional certifications such as ICC, NFPA, or equivalent
- Experience contributing to AI training, data annotation, or technical content development
- Background in mentoring, training, or developing inspection guidelines
