Soho House Toronto is seeking a reliable and hardworking Dishwasher (Porter) to support the kitchen team. This role is essential to maintaining a clean, organized, and efficient kitchen environment, ensuring that dishes, pots, pans, glassware, and other kitchen equipment are properly cleaned and stored. The successful candidate will contribute to the smooth operation of daily restaurant activities while upholding health and safety standards.

Responsibilities
- Rinse, clean, organize, and stock pots, pans, dishware, silverware, and glassware
- Operate industrial cleaning equipment such as dishwashers
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work area throughout the shift
- Dispose of rubbish, mop floors, and organize dirty and clean items
- Follow checklists and standard operating procedures
- Limit breakage and properly handle inventory to prevent loss
- Adhere to health and safety policies and company standards
- Assist the Chef on Duty and other stations as required
- Attend mandatory trainings and team meetings
- Be flexible and support any assigned duties as needed
Requirements
- Minimum 1+ year of consistent work experience
- Ability to work efficiently in fast-paced, demanding environments
- Strong focus, organization, and prioritization skills
- Open availability, including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Positive attitude and collaborative team player
Skills
- Ability to follow health and safety regulations and standard operating procedures
- Physical stamina to work on feet for at least 8 hours and lift up to 40 lbs
- Fast-paced multitasking and problem-solving abilities
- Attention to detail and care for kitchen inventory
- Adaptable and responsive to changing work demands
