Responsibilities
As a Field Operator, your responsibilities will include:
- Monitoring operational parameters at the plant and coordinating with the CCR Operator on all related activities
- Performing safe start-up and shutdown procedures according to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
- Responding quickly and efficiently during emergency plant operations
- Inspecting plant areas and auxiliaries to ensure equipment parameters are within limits and reporting abnormalities
- Performing equipment changeovers according to schedules and raising work requests for faulty equipment
- Maintaining clean and organized work areas, particularly after maintenance work
- Summarizing all activities and events in log books and recording periodic readings
- Following SOPs, work instructions, and emergency operation procedures
- Assisting in the training and familiarization of new operators
- Reporting near misses and implementing prescribed risk controls
- Monitoring environmental compliance and reporting deviations to supervisors
Requirements
Candidates should meet the following requirements:
- Technical Diploma in Engineering
- 1–3 years of experience in field operations within power, water, or renewable energy plants
- Knowledge of plant equipment, processes, and local operations
- Awareness of HSE and quality standards
- Understanding of firefighting equipment and waste management procedures
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving ability
- Effective teamwork, communication skills, and integrity
