Responsibilities
As a Housekeeping Assistant, your key responsibilities include:
- Supporting Housekeeping Attendants in maintaining guest rooms, corridors, public areas, and back-of-house spaces
- Assisting with linen delivery, rubbish removal, and restocking of supplies
- Helping with setup and breakdown of function rooms and event spaces
- Maintaining housekeeping storerooms and equipment in a clean and organised condition
- Identifying maintenance or safety concerns and reporting them to supervisors
- Contributing to a safe, welcoming, and visually appealing hotel environment
Requirements
To succeed in this role, candidates should:
- Have previous housekeeping, cleaning, or hospitality experience (preferred but not essential)
- Be physically capable of handling movement, lifting, and equipment handling tasks
