Responsibilities
- Maintain kitchen sanitation according to health department guidelines
- Follow safe food handling and storage procedures
- Wash dishes, utensils, cooking equipment, and banquet items
- Sweep, mop, and ensure kitchen floors are clean and safe
- Empty trash receptacles and replace liners
- Maintain dishwashing machines and compartment sinks
- Clean and organize food speed racks, bins, dry storage racks, and chemical storage areas
- Assist culinary team with receiving and storing orders
- Perform simple food preparation tasks as needed
- Complete other duties as assigned
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Preference given to qualified Santa Ana Tribal Members
- Obtain a New Mexico liquor server’s license and Food Handlers card within 90 days of hire
- Must work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays
- Proficiency with a smartphone for company applications, email, and communication
- Must obtain and maintain a Pueblo of Santa Ana Gaming and Regulatory Commission non-key license
