Responsibilities
- Set up machinery including calibration, cleaning, and preparation for production cycles
- Control and adjust machine settings such as speed and operation parameters
- Feed raw materials or parts into semi-automated machines
- Inspect parts using precision measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, etc.)
- Test and monitor machine operations periodically
- Troubleshoot and resolve machine issues during shifts
- Check output for quality control and report defective units
- Maintain detailed activity logs and production records
- Collaborate closely with team members to ensure smooth production flow
Requirements
- Proven experience as a machine operator in a manufacturing environment
- Knowledge of high-speed machinery and measurement tools
- Understanding of production procedures and safety standards
- Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals
- Analytical skills and strong attention to detail
- Effective teamwork and communication skills
- Physical stamina and strength to perform required tasks
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree is a plus
