Responsibilities

  • Provide personal care and support to elderly residents across AM, PM, and night shifts
  • Collaborate with nursing, hospitality, and resident engagement teams
  • Assist residents with daily living activities, mobility, and hygiene
  • Monitor residents’ health and wellbeing, reporting changes to senior carers or supervisors
  • Maintain a safe environment, following strict workplace safety protocols
  • Communicate effectively with residents, families, and colleagues to build rapport

Requirements

  • Certificate III in Individual Support (Aged Care), Diploma of Nursing with placement, or 2nd-year nursing student with placement
  • NDIS Worker Screening Clearance (or willingness to obtain)
  • Minimum one year experience in aged care (preferred)
  • Strong understanding of workplace safety procedures
  • Ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends and handovers
  • Positive teamwork attitude and professional communication skills
  • Computer literacy for emails, training platforms, and documentation
