Responsibilities
- Assist in the production of reinforcing steel for concrete footings, slabs, and structures
- Perform cutting, bending, welding, bundling, and loading steel onto trucks
- Support customer service, stores, and warehousing tasks
- Follow all workplace safety procedures and maintain a safe working environment
- Operate hand tools and production machinery as required
Requirements
- Good communication and time management skills
- Ability to work in a physically demanding role
- Commitment to safe work practices
- Ability to pass pre-employment checks including drug & alcohol, medical, and police check
- Experience with MIG welding, hand tools, LF Forklift, CN Non-slewing mobile crane, DG Dogger ticket, or HR license is desirable but not essential
