Position Overview
The Receptionist manages front-desk operations and serves as a liaison between clients, employees, and vendors. This includes greeting visitors, managing calls, coordinating with building management, and assisting with administrative and event-related tasks.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet and direct visitors with professionalism and courtesy
- Answer, screen, and redirect phone calls; take detailed messages as needed
- Manage visitor badges and maintain accurate visitor logs
- Provide administrative support, including scheduling meetings, ordering supplies, and assisting with mail or office tasks
- Coordinate building vendor services and act as a tenant/landlord liaison
- Assist with event coordination, catering requests, and room reservations
- Maintain a neat and orderly reception area at all times
- Provide travel assistance, directions, and guest support
- Follow all safety, security, and company protocols
Qualifications & Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of reception, hospitality, or vendor coordination experience
- Preferably 2 years of face-to-face customer interaction
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills; pleasant phone voice
- Strong organization, attention to detail, and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel
- Positive attitude and comfort in delivering customer service to diverse populations
