Security Technician Job In Argentina

SSR Mining Inc. is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Security Technician II to join its Cripple Creek & Victor Mine operations. Responsibilities

  • Conduct patrols and inspections of vehicles, property, and high-security areas
  • Monitor refinery security systems, including alarms, access control, and CCTV
  • Respond promptly to incidents and emergency situations
  • Investigate incidents by gathering information, interviewing individuals, and completing accurate reports
  • Write legible, factual, and concise daily reports
  • Monitor deliveries and ensure proper access control
  • Train on company security policies, procedures, and emergency response protocols
  • Communicate with the Security Supervisor regarding operational issues
  • Maintain housekeeping and ensure a safe, organized work environment

Requirements

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with professional demeanor
  • Basic to intermediate computer skills for report writing and security system use
  • Ability to respond appropriately to emergencies and follow established security procedures
  • Willingness to work overtime, rotating shifts, and respond to emergency callouts
  • Must pass a security background check
  • Ability to work at high elevations (9,400 – 10,600 ft.) and in varying weather conditions

Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior security experience in industrial, mining, refinery, or high-security environments
  • Experience conducting patrols, vehicle/property inspections, and monitoring restricted areas
  • Experience with incident investigations and monitoring security systems
