Responsibilities
- Respond promptly to guest and departmental requests
- Fill housekeeping carts with supplies and transport to assigned areas
- Enter guest rooms following proper procedures, ensuring vacancy before entry
- Replace guest amenities, supplies, linens, and terry
- Make beds, fold terry, and clean bathrooms
- Remove trash, dirty linen, and room service items
- Check appliances, straighten furniture, and dust/polish surfaces
- Vacuum carpets and perform floor care duties
- Follow company safety, security, and operational policies
- Report maintenance issues, hazards, accidents, or injuries
- Maintain a clean and professional appearance
- Welcome and interact with guests according to company standards
- Support team goals and maintain quality expectations
- Perform physical tasks including lifting, pushing, pulling, and reaching as required
- Complete other reasonable duties as assigned by supervisors
Requirements
- Ability to speak Japanese fluently
- Ability to perform physical tasks and lift/move items safely
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Professional appearance and ability to maintain guest confidentiality
- Ability to stand, sit, kneel, or walk for extended periods
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
Preferred Qualifications
- No formal education, prior work experience, or supervisory experience required
- Training provided on-the-job to meet Sheraton standards
