Responsibilities
As a Van Driver – Part Time, you will play a vital role in ensuring residents travel safely and comfortably. Your key responsibilities include:
- Safely transporting residents and others in the village van
- Providing a friendly, welcoming, and supportive experience for all passengers
- Ensuring all outings are enjoyable and stress-free
- Maintaining strong health and safety standards, including adherence to road regulations
- Monitoring vehicle upkeep and reporting maintenance needs
- Working collaboratively with colleagues to support village activities
Requirements
To be successful in this role, candidates must meet the following criteria:
- Current, clean New Zealand Driver’s Licence
- Ability to drive a manual van
- Current P-Endorsed Licence (or willingness to obtain one with company support)
- Valid New Zealand work rights
- Availability to work the specified part-time schedule
