Responsibilities
As a Warehouse Specialist, your responsibilities will include:
- Inventory Management: Monitor and maintain inventory levels, conduct regular counts, reconcile discrepancies, and update records in the warehouse management system (WMS)
- Receiving and Dispatching: Oversee the receiving process for incoming shipments, verify contents against packing slips or purchase orders, and prepare outgoing shipments including picking, packing, and labeling
- Quality Control: Inspect products for damages or defects, return defective items to vendors, and initiate corrective measures as needed
- Organizing and Storing: Arrange items according to storage methods, utilize equipment such as forklifts or pallet jacks, and maintain a clean and efficient warehouse
- Safety Compliance: Follow safety protocols, handle hazardous materials correctly, maintain equipment, and promote a culture of safety among staff
- Documentation and Reporting: Generate reports on inventory levels, stock movements, and other key metrics; maintain accurate records of all warehouse activities
Requirements
Candidates should meet the following requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field
- 2–3 years of experience in warehouse operations
- Fluent in English (conversational proficiency in Arabic preferred)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
- Currently residing in Oman
- Valid driving license
